HIRE THE LONG BARN
Orchard Kitchen is based at Humble by Nature, a small mixed livestock farm in Monmouthshire’s beautiful Wye Valley.
Our Long Barn is available for hire and is ideal for filming and creative cookery courses, as well as intimate
weddings and family gatherings.
It features a fully equipped commercial kitchen and a country-style front-facing kitchen with rusting indoor seating for 42.
(for weddings, we can cater up to 150 people) The naturally lit stone and glass corridor looks out onto the farm’s communal courtyard, providing a picturesque gallery space for local artists and crafters.
The farm is also home to a collaborative community of rural artisan businesses, including The Pig and Apple, a restaurant that has built up a well-deserved reputation for its incredible burgers. (Open Thurs-Sat, 4pm – 10pm – Reservations only)
Silver Circle Distillery produces handmade crafts spirits using local ingredients, and Hannah and Zena at Haze are British flower farmers who grow and supply blooms and host their fabulous pick-your-own flower field.

Found deep within the Welsh countryside, in the heart of Monmouthshire, the beautifully converted Long Barn offers a unique and versatile space for weddings, weekend gatherings, events, creative workshops, and more!
The venue:
Accommodates up to 42 guests comfortably (for weddings, capacity can be increased to 150 with additional arrangements)
Private entrance and lawn/garden area for a secluded event atmosphere.
A courtyard to the rear of the barn offers extra space for sunny summer days.
Included in Your Hire:
Long wooden tables and chairs, the table runners, dressing and lighting of the barn are included in the hiring fee. Cutlery and all china/serving boards are included in the catering price.
Fully equipped commercial kitchen.
Charming front-facing show kitchen with rustic seating for an intimate feel.
Modern toilet facilities for your guests' convenience.
Catering:
Please note that all catering requirements are to be provided by Orchard Kitchen, who will work alongside you to create bespoke menus using only the freshest, local ingredients, organic where possible.

Hire Options:
1. Weekends (Friday-Sunday):
Are you looking to host a memorable weekend gathering, event or workshop? Enjoy exclusive use of the Long Barn and grounds for the entire weekend.
• Full Weekend Hire: £1,750
Enjoy uninterrupted access to the space from 8 AM Friday until 8 PM Sunday; no need to set up and pack down each day.
• Day Hire: £650
Perfect for a special occasion or celebration, our day hire option (10 AM - 11 PM) allows you to utilise the Long Barn and grounds for a set day on the weekend
2. Weekday Hire (Monday-Thursday):
Weekday hire offers a cost-effective solution for business meetings, creative workshops and courses, or small gatherings.
Weekday Hire (minimum 3 hours): From £150
Weekly Event Discount: Book your event for consecutive weeks (a minimum of 4 weeks) and receive a special discount on the hourly rental rate.
3. Weddings:
Create a truly unforgettable wedding celebration in our idyllic setting. Host your ceremony and reception in the Long Barn, surrounded by rustic charm and natural beauty. Our team will assist you in curating a wedding that reflects your unique style.
