Tucked away on a working farm at Humble by Nature, the Lambing Shed is exactly what it says on the tin. It’s where ewes come in to shelter each spring, where lambs take their first steps, and where the hum of the countryside is very much alive. But in the summer months, when the sheep are back out in the fields, it becomes something else entirely: a vast, open, utterly unique space for celebration.
For couples who like things a little less polished and a little more real, the Lambing Shed offers the freedom to do something truly different.
A Wedding Venue with Mud on Its Boots.
This is not a glossy converted barn. It’s an honest, agricultural building, used exactly as it was intended during the farming season—and that’s part of the magic. The structure is simple and solid, with high ceilings, concrete floors and space to spare. The feel is rustic in the truest sense of the word, but give it a little vision and it transforms beautifully. String up some festoon lights, roll out some rugs, and suddenly it’s something else entirely.
What you bring in is what gives it shape: whether that’s a row of food trucks and a mobile bar, a flower-draped archway for your vows, or a dance floor under the stars just outside the doors.
Make the Space Your Own
The Lambing Shed gives you the chance to build your wedding day exactly as you imagine it—no need to squeeze your plans into someone else’s template. With all that space, you can really get creative:
Set up a ceremony area at one end, with wildflowers and hay bales or vintage chairs
